Liquid Groove - May 23. 1998

These guys threw a few events during this era. The music and image generally did not cater to me so I don't think I went to any. This night I was at the 'New Groove' event thrown by Lucid. That was at The Warehouse so I'm not sure where this one was. I do remember hearing it was really rammed.

they worked good that way

too bad lucid didnt stick around long
tough time to break into the scene
jungle was more commercial then ever in early 98

we checked out the one jam they had (sure it was there first)
kane and ron were headlining,
must have been more parties that night, because the place was ghost.

that there proved to me how uneducated my generation was with the scene

Yes, that event was really really empty. I think everyone went to the Liquid Groove event. Odd that there were two events with 'Groove' in the title that night. I'll put up a better scan of the Lucid event tonite.
