This is a recording I picked up from Dj Rise last summer i think (thx for this rise!). For those of you who remember Dr. NO you might recognise the first he plays...when rise gave me this CD i almost freaked the fuk out. I havent heard this track since those wicked Dr. No days. It was like some serious flashback. This was the first recording i heard of him done in the UK.

Some signature Dr. NO sounds. I remember 23 Hop, Catch 22 and Chemistry parties all over again lol.

Neil, if your out there....big respect to you my friend. I miss ya. Drop me a line!

dr.no (neil) was one of the biggest (local) inspirations musically for me. 23 hop, the rise and of course the chemistry parties will forever be engrained in my mind as some of the best times i've had! we were pretty damn lucky to have had the scene we did in my opinion. definately unmatched anywhere in canada or the states! the music we were all loosin it to was ours... not alot of other places were remotely even close to the sounds (hardcore, jungle, dnb) comin outta toronto cept for the UK of course.

Agreed, Dr. No was a big influence on me aswell. He helped me get into spinning at the Hop, Catch 22, and so on. Neil was awesome, such a good guy too. Wonder what hes up to these days.
