Pleasure Force
This has to be my favorite event. I had such a good time so many good memories from this one night its amazing. I think this was the night i truly fell in love with Jungle and drum'n bass. Incredible night of music. A historic night. Attached image(s)

My very first party!! My friend Dave drove a whole crew of us in from Oakville in his "Ravemobile", which was an old astrovan with the seats taken out so that he could fit as many people in a possible. I remember being so excited about going and only hearing stories about what I was about to encounter from my more experienced friends. The night was incredible from start to finish. I remember the very intense chill room which i think had a constant strobe light in it and checkered floors. I also remember these huge 'moon rock' things that i guess were left over from some film shoot in cinespace, or perhaps they were brought in for the night. At one point in the night i was standing on the floor taking it all in with the buddy and one of these moon rocks gets tossed our way. My bud catches it with pure instinctual reaction and we both began to crack up with laughter, it just seemed so odd. I also remember walking into the bathroom at one point and it was pure chaos, people were crawling over the tops of stalls. Although what bathroom at a rave wasn't chaos.
A great night. I stayed up all night and went to drivers ed the next morning. It wasn't until a couple years later that i realized that i had heard Ruffige Crew that night. I feel fortunate to have experienced it. |
