The New Groove
Lucid Entertainment - May 23. 1998 Held at the Warehouse. Not a solid turnout at all. An event called Liquid Groove was held the same night at Shock I think, and it seems like everyone went to that event. A shame as the lineup was pretty cool. 187 Lockdown played to about 10 people in the main area of the Warehouse. Once the jungle moved into the smaller room there was a bit more of a vibe but not much could be done to save this one. I don't think Dr. No was there. Five-0 did his best to get the crowd going. I like the inside art of this flyer. front: Attached image(s) |

Just noticed someone actually made a comment haha.
Still really too bad about this event. Dj Ron and Dj Kane were classic dj's that I just don't think enough people knew about. Same with Mc Five O, who did his best at this event getting everyone that was actually there in the massive space of the Warehouse and getting everyone to come to the front of the stage to at least have some fun. I was actually excited for this event for 187 Lockdown as Speed Garage was still kicking at this time and I was really into it. |
