These tapes were bootleged by XStatic back in 93/94 and dam were they popular. Fuckin wicked tapes. Came out around the same time as the legendary Fabio 4 & 5 tapes. Changed the face of the Jungle scene in Toronto.

Audio online, check the replies.

Ok maybe you are the right guy to ask this question to.

My first tape ever was given to me by my cousin, he was into the early rave scene, and I was all about this exciting new sound even though I wouldnt go to an actual party for another 6 years...hahaha!

Anyways, it was titled "Fabio 3-1993"

It was red, it was of course from X-static, and I still have it! The MC is a bit much at times, but other than that it has all of the classic 'ardcore tunes on it.

Does anybody know if that tape was recorded from a party here? or a party in the UK?

I know Grooverider was also at the same party, cuz a beginning of his set can be heard on side b..

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me the name of the first track Kenny Ken starts with at the 3 min. 20 sec mark of the A side tape? I'd really like to hunt for that tune and get it myself. It has the little british kid sample "Ooh it's awfully dark and gloomy out there", then the MC starts singing when the beats kick in.

Any help naming this tune would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks for these uploads. Absolutely wicked tapes.

Cheers,

S
