Destiny - Destiny 10
July 14/15/16, 1995

This, I believe, was Destiny's first 3 day event. The first WEMF per say. Although a small tornado ripped through it the Friday night, the party continued without a hitch! (memories of people grasping the tent for dear life! lol) It was held at "Mosport International Speedway", in Bowmanville.

What seperates this from the other destiny 3 days, is that there were no line ups! Barely any rules (park where ever you like, and set up camp!)
I left this one with a sense of having survived something with a great group of new friends. Had a great time! I'm sure I could go on and on about this one...but I'm tired..so here's the flyer! haha

Oh, the little map with the numbers was cool. When you called the info line, they filled in the blanks for each number. Hence giving you directions to the party.

Now I realize these pics suck! But I was in no condition to be taking them anyways. I took about 5 pictures, in total, the whole weekend!
Here's a shot of some friends hanging off my old car at the time tongue.gif We spend a lot of the day time walking around the race track, and hanging out.

um.... without a hitch ? that tornado set a small fire when it tore down some of the electrical lines. it also caused the water in the bathrooms to be shut off until sunday. and all the food vendors to leave or jack up prices. I found like 6 people I didnt know in my tent when I finally found my way back to it. the music got cut off until sat. morning, I remember right as the sun started rising some crazy track sampling 'oye como va' by santana started blasting which got shit going again. but other than that, yeah there werent any hitches......

Love the pictures!!! I had to spend Saturday night on my car like you are sitting in the picture. I came up on Friday, set up camp and just before the tornado, I left cause I had to work Saturday morning. When I got back Saturday afternoon my tent was gone. All my friends just watched it blow away cause there tents were more important lol. So my poor car hood had huge dents in it for the rest of its life smile.gif I will never forget this one that is for sure. I also remember Ambient C's final set....when they pulled the plug on him and everyone was soooooo mad. lol

Ambient C's ending set was a collection of classic ambient-trance anthems: Little fluffy clouds, Halcyon, papua new guinea to name a few. You NEVER hear those tracks at any event anymore. It was a shame when he changed his name to A/C; you could always rely on him to play obscure and rarely-heard tracks. And then he went to playing acid, and it just wasn't the same.

I only ever had the pre-flyer...nice to see the full-scale one.
