My first party I flyered for Ashley and the boys. They always hooked me up with tapes and free admission to most events and were the nicest guys ever. This one was three days b4 my birthday.

Funniest moment was when I was walking up to the VIP area with Dominic and I had I VIP pass. I walked in and they stopped him. I was like you know who this guy is???

Hilarious.

I remember standing behind Mark Oliver when he was playing that funky ass Let your backbone slide joint, talking to his wife, lookin at the thousands of people in front of me and rushing my face off.

What a trip!!

a bit OT, but i remember a small party i was playing at in oshawa many years ago. i got a lift up with a friend and lugged my record bag to the door. security guy gets all big and goes "hey...what's in the bag?"

these two kids behind me go "HAHA. what the fuck do you think is in the bag man? he's a fucking dj. those are his records loser!" for a split second i was thinking that this could get bad really fast or pass by. security dude felt a bit silly and let us in.

it was one of my first sets since moving to toronto and felt complimented when i saw dominik dancing while i played and it wasn't anything close to hardcore.

Of course those tapes are labeled wrong. Some how I put the wrong dates on.
