just a thought... you think we have enough members (and friends of members) to put together a proper, (maybe private) event, where everyone gives some ideas on what they would like to see?
we all know what we enjoyed from back in those days, theres enough influence here to properly put together an event . a small venue isnt expensive or difficult to get a hold of. we can even call it "Back in a Daze"  |

sounds like an absolutely wicked idea. it would be great to be out with some old schoolers and hear some old school sets.
let me know if there is anything i can do to help make this happen. i like the idea of something private and intimate. would be a great night i'm sure. |

Let's do it! I watched the Leafs game last night with an old friend (Brian Ireland, aka. DJ SPLIT) and we spoke about this site. I am sure there would be a good turnout. With the warm weather now on our doorstep somewhere with a good outdoor patio area for chilling out and having a beer would be nice.

im gonna look into a venue then, something small and intimate. now heres teh question. would you prefer a grungy underground warehouse type space, or have we all grown up and prefer a nice clean accessible venue? let meknow. im going to seriously put this together. |

if you wanna keep it oldschool i'd suggest old dirty warehouse space.. clean and accessible wasn't exactly a mainstay of old parties. to me raves don't really feel like raves if they're in a club.. but thats just me. this is a wicked idea nonetheless.. i'd be happy to help out... shyat.. i might even bother to bust out those videos .. we can have them playing on a few monitors to up the oldschoolness.. heh. |

I'll drive to the city for this ANY TIME. Been a while since I've had some boomin drum n bass flexin my rib cage. Specially some old school choons. I think a decent crowd could be assembled for this no problems.
