I was like you know who this guy is??? a bit OT, but i remember a small party i was playing at in oshawa many years ago. i got a lift up with a friend and lugged my record bag to the door. security guy gets all big and goes "hey...what's in the bag?" these two kids behind me go "HAHA. what the fuck do you think is in the bag man? he's a fucking dj. those are his records loser!" for a split second i was thinking that this could get bad really fast or pass by. security dude felt a bit silly and let us in. it was one of my first sets since moving to toronto and felt complimented when i saw dominik dancing while i played and it wasn't anything close to hardcore. |
