TITLE: Syrous #07 - ' Renegades 2 '
LOCATION: Cinespace Studios - Toronto
DATE: March 25th, 1995
AUDIO: No Recording
ATTENDANCE: 1800

FEATURED DJ:
Local Toronto Jungle Dj's

MEMORIES: Im was not happy with this event. Sometimes i like to think it never happened. All the UK Dj's on the flyer were denied entry by Imigration Canada. Real long story but the night went off pretty well despite that major set back. I just didnt like the vibe, venue setup or lighting. Hectic party preparations but the local Toronto Dj's supplied some wicked tunes. The flyer was not my idea, I didnt like the whole Batman theme. Just didnt stick with the Syrous style. This flyer and event was the first Syrous failure and the first time the partnership between Rob and I showed problems.

DESIGN BY: (concept) Rob, Vito, (work) Terry

thanx sigma for this site
this is amazing.
I couldn't believe it when I saw this picture you posted of the crowd shot.
I'm the one dancing with no shirt, beside the girl in the yellow.
Ohhhh the memories.
Some friends of mine and I would try to make it to every party, but it was hard beeing an unemployed kid and trying to get to T.O. from St. Catharines every week-end. I can remember listening to the doctor trance radio show (Don Berns) to try to get updates and being pissed off at parties I couldn't go to. I went to just about every Syrous, P.F., Dose, Better Days, Atlantis, Effective......
I notice a lot of you that use this site are heavy into the dnb. I love breakbeat and funky house or hard ass acid techno.
The thing I loved about the old raves was ( especially @ cinespace ) that usually there was only one room and all the headliners were on the main stage, no matter what kind of music they played. So through the course of the night you got to here some wicked shit thrown down in all musical styles. You got schooled every week-end. I could go on forever.

Thanx Ludikris for putting me on to this site
Thanx Sigma for having this shit up ( LOOOOVE The Liberty Street Pics ) getdown.gif
