i have it, let me know if you cant find yours.

Absolutely loved this event. Held at Cinespace I believe, with a whole warehouse used just for the indoor lineup (it was fuckin cold)

The Live pa was The Alliance I believe.

I dont think i have a copy of this flyer.
Dont know if i went to this.

Live PA was Positronic Brain (same thing i know.. heh)

he's on here now.. post dammit!

yeah.. using that one warehouse for the lineup was one of the coolest things i've seen done at a party. Although i think i might be confusing this with Destiny 8 which had Cosmic Baby, Kimball Collins and DJ Dag (didn't show)..

I know one of the two parties also had Fierce Ruling Diva and Abraxas.. that was cool!

strange to think hardcore was so popular in toronto back then.

I absolutely loved mystify. I have a few of their things on vinyl, then they changed their name and signed to uk44 i believe, and i never heard from them again.

Id love to hear some of his stories.

I remember positronic brain doing a trance version of some classical song.. thats one of the last tracks i remember hearing before the hurricane tore the roof off friday night at Destiny 10. Don't remember Mystify but would remember if i heard it.. saw nuff positronic brain live pa's back in the day.

Mystify was the more popular song that got airplay on 108 etc.

Lyrics go "Raise your hands up to the heavens, Mistify your heart, mistify your soul" etc etc... dont ask me how I still remember that, I havent heard that track in years.

Sorry for the second post, but I have put some thought into this and as soon as I saw the flyer it hit me. I remember the night John Aquaviva played and it was actually down at the maze (unless he made more than one apperance that year). I remember in one of the rooms some guy was cooking pancakes and when he flipped them he was throwing them up in the air and they were like almost hitting the ceiling. I also remember there were like 100 people standing around watching but I dont think I saw one person purchase one. He would just throw it away when it was cooked and start again. I could of course be wrong as I also remember spending the whole night with Manic and I dont remember him spinning at all (unless he did so before I arrived) and his name is on the flyer as well, but in those days he always seemed to get the early slots. This one makes me ponder hyper.gif Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lol I can tell you I saw John Aquaviva spin that year and it was at the Maze, now if it was a Destiny party or not I'm not sure. lol

I do have it. On some unmarked tape in my massive bag of case-less tapes. I'm afraid its doomed to never be found again.

Unfortunately, I think Mystify was only ever released on two albums: (1) Pure Energy Contraband (2) Sotto Voce / Positronic Brain - Happy People / Mystify. Given the extensive airplay it received back in the 90s, I'm surprised it didn't make it onto more dance compilations. I'd love to find it on CD.
